Kevin Nash did not hold back his opinion regarding the current performance of CM Punk following a recent appearance on the December 22 taped episode of Monday Night Raw. Speaking on his podcast, Nash critiqued Punk’s physical condition and in-ring work during a tag team match that saw Punk and Rey Mysterio lose to Austin Theory and Bron Breakker.
Nash specifically pointed out his issues with Punk’s choice of ring gear and his speed between the ropes.
“I watched (CM) Punk in the main event of that match last Monday,” Nash said. “Number one, if you’re the Heavyweight Champion of the WWE and you wrestle in a t-shirt? Ouch. Number two, his punches looked really slow, he looked slow. I think he’s done.”
The WWE Hall of Famer then offered a bold prediction for the upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match. “I think Bron (Breakker) should beat him,” Nash stated.
Punk is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Title against Breakker on the one-year anniversary edition of Monday Night Raw on Netflix. That highly anticipated show will take place on January 6, 2026, live from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
