Matt Hardy has suggested a tag team match that would feature three of the most decorated teams in wrestling history. Following the events of Monday Night Raw, Hardy took to social media to pitch a “generational dream match” involving The Hardy Boyz, The Usos, and The New Day.
The suggestion came immediately after The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) defeated AJ Styles and Dragon Lee in the main event of Raw to capture the WWE World Tag Team Championships. This victory marked the ninth title reign for the brothers.
While The Usos have had major rivalries over the years, their history with The New Day is considered one of the defining feuds of the modern era. Now, another member of a legendary tag team has called for a showdown that would bring all three teams together, possibly at WrestleMania.
In his social media post, Hardy suggested that “it is now time” for he and his brother Jeff to feature in a dream match that would also include The Usos and The New Day. Matt and Jeff Hardy currently hold the TNA World Tag Team Championships.
Congrats, @WWEUsos! Well deserved win as you guys absolutely killed it.
Maybe at @WrestleMania, it’s time for The Usos vs The New Day vs The Hardy Boyz in a generational dream match. https://t.co/jXjQOBXiPM
