Another WWE Couple Has Gotten Married

WWE Superstars Sydney Zmrzel, known professionally as Maxxine Dupri, and Anthony Luke, who performs under the ring name Kam Hendrix, have officially tied the knot. The couple celebrated their marriage on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, Florida. The New Year’s Eve nuptials served as both a wedding celebration and a kick-off to 2026, marking a significant personal milestone for the pair following a breakout professional year for Dupri.

According to People.com, the beachside event was attended by 180 guests, a list that included a significant number of current and former professional wrestling figures. Notable attendees included Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, Chelsea Green, Shayna Baszler, Indi Hartwell, and Dupri’s on-screen Alpha Academy teammate Otis. Other wrestling personalities present were Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, Deonna Purrazzo, Matt Cardona, and Steve Maclin. Beyond the wrestling world, the guest list featured professional football players Keith Ismael and Ryan Pope, as well as content creators such as Chase DeMoor and Gabrielle Moses. Zmrzel described the event to People as an “ethereal escape” designed to be an intimate celebration with their closest family and friends.

The ceremony took place on the beach lawn, where a pianist and vocalist performed live. Zmrzel walked down the aisle to “Yebba’s Heartbreak” by Drake and YEBBA. For the occasion, she selected a drop-waist gown by WONÁ Concept, accessorized with a neck scarf, noting that she wanted a “stripped back and classic” look to contrast with the rhinestone-heavy outfits she wears for WWE television. Her cousin, Marine Corps Veteran Zack Zmrzel, officiated the exchange of handwritten vows, while NFL player Keith Ismael led a prayer to bless the couple. Later in the evening, Zmrzel changed into a mini dress by Rosie Etienne Bridal for the reception.

A deeply personal touch defined the reception’s aesthetic, which followed a yellow color scheme in honor of Zmrzel’s late brother, Wyatt, whose favorite color was yellow. Guests entered through a butter-yellow doorway into a space decorated with white blooms, draped curtains, and soft candlelight. The reception featured a “butter yellow vintage bar” where signature cocktails were served until 1 a.m. The couple’s first dance was a choreographed performance set to a mix of three songs: Old Dominion’s “One Man Band,” Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie,” and Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love.” The night concluded with late-night snacks including sliders and s’mores.

The wedding caps off a relationship that spans nearly seven years. Zmrzel and Luke first met on the Fourth of July at a nightclub in South Lake Tahoe, California, long before either had signed with WWE. They got engaged on December 23, 2024, during a trip to Troncones, Mexico, where Luke proposed on the beach with a diamond ring from Bay Hill Jewelers. Zmrzel noted that their long tenure together means Luke is a partner who “never judges” her and has been a “loyal, protective” presence throughout their rise in the sports entertainment industry.

Professionally, the wedding concludes a massive year for Zmrzel. As Maxxine Dupri, she became a central figure on Monday Night Raw throughout 2025. After initially managing the Maximum Male Models and later joining Alpha Academy, she transitioned into an active in-ring competitor. Her momentum peaked on the November 17, 2025, episode of Raw, where she defeated Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, her first title in the company. She is currently embroiled in a high-profile feud with Lynch on Raw.

Anthony Luke is also establishing his own path within WWE. A former defensive lineman for San Diego State University and the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes, Luke signed with WWE in 2024. He performs on the NXT and Evolve brands under the ring name Kam Hendrix. He made his in-ring debut in April 2024 and gained further exposure as a contestant on the reality competition series WWE LFG (“Legends & Future Greats”), where he wrestled his first televised match in March 2025. The couple plans to enjoy time with family in Naples before returning to their respective wrestling schedules.
