WWE star Rusev is set to expand his influence in the professional wrestling industry by opening his own training facility in the first quarter of 2026. The new school, KECH Pro Wrestling Academy, is scheduled to open its doors on March 1 officially. Located in Nashville, Tennessee, the academy serves a wide range of students, from children and adults starting their journey to established wrestlers looking to sharpen their skills.
Rusev announced his vision for the school publicly. He said that the training would cover everything from in-ring fundamentals to character development, ensuring a comprehensive education for aspiring talent.
“We’re opening a new pro wrestling school for adults and kids. Real pro wrestling training — from fundamentals to character work,” Rusev announced. “Also, we’ll have advanced training sessions for experienced wrestlers only. The ring is on the way. The building is locked in. If you ever wanted to train like a pro, now is your chance.”
This venture comes after Rusev returned to WWE in 2025 following a stint with AEW. His own wrestling education began at the Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy in California, which is owned and operated by WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi. By opening his own facility, Rusev follows in his mentor’s footsteps.
With this move, Rusev joins a growing list of active WWE stars who operate their own wrestling schools. Current roster members Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes both own academies, while Natalya works with talent at her private “Dungeon” facility. Additionally, former Women’s Champion Bayley recently held a seminar for up-and-coming wrestlers and has expressed interest in opening her own school.
