The Wrestling Observer reports that AJ Lee will not be punished for the incident with Michelle Beadle a week ago at the Tribue to the Troops taping. WWE spoke with Punk and Lee and the issue seems to have been dropped.
Punk had been frustrated with WWE initially handled the situation and tweeted the following: “it’s difficult to always try to do business the proper way with a company that refuses to practice the same standards.”
Beadle posted a tweet last weekend (at WWE’s request) explaining the situation. It is said that Punk and Beadle had a very brief relationship at some point in the past.
