All Elite Wrestling may be getting a notable name back on television soon after being away for several months.
This past May, Jade Cargill retained the AEW TBS Title against Taya Valkyrie at the AEW Double or Nothing event from Las Vegas, Nevada, only to lose it to a returning Kris Statlander moments later, snapping Jade’s 60-0 winning streak.
Following the bout, she teased on Twitter that she likes being out of the wrestling bubble and it was reported she was taking time off from the promotion. A previous update in late July noted that nothing had changed regarding her AEW status. However, that has now changed.
Fightful Select recently reported that Cargill was at the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite where she was visiting.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “Jade Cargill’s name has been talked about regarding coming back soon.”
As of this writing, it’s still unclear exactly when she will be returning or what AEW has planned for her storyline wise.
