AEW is off to a strong start to 2024 by establishing new talent and title contenders, such as HOOK challenging Samoa Joe for the World Heavyweight Title next week on Dynamite. Where she’s been
In 2023, Baker was not used on television in the top-star role. Her last two matches were September 13th and 16th, leading to speculation that she may be injured.
Fightful Select previously reported Baker was backstage at this past Wednesday’s Dynamite in Jacksonville, FL, along with Elijah “The Pope” Burke and PAC.
Backstage
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select was asked about Baker’s status with AEW in a Q&A, noting she also had been at the AEW Dynamite event in Orlando last month. However, she lives in Florida, so she was likely just visiting.
“I haven’t heard if she’s returning to TV, but she was backstage this week and at the Orlando show as well. She lives in Florida, though, so that’s not that out of the ordinary.”
