Action Andretti on who has helped him backstage in AEW, dream match with Bryan Danielson would be ‘really cool’

Action Andretti has had an incredible run so far in AEW after getting the biggest win of career against Chris Jericho a few weeks ago on Dynamite. Andretti talked about that match during his interview on “The Sessions with Renee Paquette.”

Andretti said, “Where do you even begin with that? Just the emotions that were there, just the opportunity I was given, and just knowing that I had to crush it and knock it out of the ballpark. I was definitely holding back the shit in in my pants. No, I’m just kidding, but there was a lot of nerves going into that. It’s a big test, and you know, you got to make the most out of it. Just to have an opportunity like that, it’s crazy to me. I’m very grateful that Tony gave me that opportunity to even step in the ring with Jericho to begin with, and him believing in me to just go out there, let alone me go out there and then get the victory over him. It was an insane feeling. That crowd in Texas was crazy. I again, thank those fans in Texas because they really made that moment special for me.”

On who he goes to for advice:

“Mark Henry is a big one. He’s a guy that really believed in me. He’s one of the guys that wanted to see me be able to do some stuff when I was wrestling those Dark matches. So Mark Henry has been a big help. Jerry Lynn, he’s a guy I had a really good conversation with right after the Jericho match and previous matches after. He’s really helped me out a lot. Other producers back there are helping certain things in the matches that could be better, like, ‘Maybe you should do this here or there.’ Sometimes I’ll even go to Chris and ask for advice.”

On what his dream match would be:

“Man, there’s a couple of guys I have dream matches with, but they’ve kind of been like a tag team. I don’t know if I can say a number one dream match because there really are so many guys I want to work there, but I think wrestling against Bryan Danielson would be really cool. I know everyone probably says that.”
