AEW All Out Opening Match Announced

AEW President Tony Khan has confirmed that the All Out pay-per-view this Saturday will begin with a tag team match. During a media scrum held on Thursday, Khan announced that the match pitting the recently reunited team of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage against FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) will open the main card of the event in Toronto, Canada.

The choice to open with this particular match is significant, as the feud between Copeland and FTR has been a central storyline on AEW television for months. The rivalry has deep roots in Christian Cage’s feud Adam Copeland throughout the past year. After reuniting with Copeland, Cage now teams with his long-time friend to face FTR, who are widely regarded as one of the best tag teams in modern wrestling.

The rest of the All Out card is equally stacked with several matchups. The main event will see Hangman Page defend the AEW World Championship against TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher. A major stipulation has been added to the bout: if any member of The Don Callis Family interferes, Fletcher will be immediately stripped of his TNT Championship. The event will also feature a four-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, a four-way match for the AEW Women’s World Championship, and Mercedes Mone defending her TBS Championship against Riho. Several matches with special stipulations will also take place, including a Coffin Match between Jon Moxley and Darby Allin, and a Tables & Thumbtacks No DQ Match pitting MJF against Mark Briscoe.

Before the main card begins, the Tailgate Brawl Pre-Show will feature an eight-woman tag team match, Daniel Garcia taking on Katsuyori Shibata, and the team of Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs facing The WorkHorsemen.
