With less than a week to go before AEW’s largest-ever event in the United States, an update has been provided on the ticket sales and live gate for All In: Texas. The show is set to take place on Saturday, July 12, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
Current Sales Numbers
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the event is already a massive financial success for the company. “All In Texas on 7/12 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX as of the last word we had was at 19,500 tickets out, which would be in excess of $2.55 million,” the report states. It was noted that this number was from several days prior and that sales were “probably at or near 20,000 at this point”.
While the show is not expected to be a complete sellout, it is still considered a “big success” from a business standpoint.
Secondary Market and Scalpers
The report also provided insight into the secondary ticket market for the event. “The secondary market wasn’t a major thing,” it was noted. “For whatever reason, scalpers didn’t go heavy into this show and the ticket demand on that market isn’t nearly as high as the WWE shows”.
AEW All In: Texas is headlined by three major world championship matches, including Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Championship against “Hangman” Adam Page in a Texas Death Match.
