Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision will include a special tribute to late wrestling and football icon Steve “Mongo” McMichael as part of the Beach Break-themed broadcast.
McMichael, a former NFL star and member of the legendary Four Horsemen, passed away in April following a courageous battle with ALS. In tribute to his legacy, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair—a close friend and stablemate of McMichael—will appear on Collision to honor him. Flair said on social media: “See You In Chicago Tonight @AEW! It Will Be A Night To Remember. I Will Be Paying Tribute & Honoring My Best Friend The Great Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael.”
