AEW Announces Big Match With Grand Slam Australia Title Implications For Next Week’s Dynamite

AEW has announced a new match for the January 15th episode of Dynamite with big stakes.

AEW CEO Tony Khan confirmed that AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage will see the first-ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match, with the winner getting a shot at Mariah May’s Women’s title at Grand Slam Australia. The pay-per-view event will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Queensland.

Also on tap for next week’s show is AEW World Champion Jon Moxley vs. the winner of this week’s Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match and Christian Cage vs. Hook. More bouts will be announced during Wednesday’s Dynamite.

Grand Slam marks AEW’s first event in Australia.
