AEW Announces ‘New Year’s Smash’ For Final Show Of 2025

AEW will be ringing in the new year in Nebraska, as the promotion has announced its final event for 2025. The company will be in the Omaha area on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, for a special “New Year’s Smash” edition of AEW Dynamite.

The event will be held at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena. This is the traditional theme for the final episode of Dynamite of the year. Tickets for the show are scheduled to go on sale to the general public on Monday, November 3.

Worlds End Fallout

AEW is promoting the event with a graphic that features Hangman Page, Kris Statlander, and Darby Allin. This New Year’s Eve show will also serve as the fallout episode from the Worlds End pay-per-view. Worlds End is scheduled for Saturday, December 27, at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

This will be AEW’s second visit to the Liberty First Credit Union Arena. The promotion made its debut in Nebraska earlier this year when the venue hosted an episode of Dynamite in March. That same night, AEW also filmed two one-hour “Slam Dunk Collision” specials.

With the final date of 2025 now officially on the calendar, AEW is expected to begin announcing its schedule for January 2026 soon. The promotion has already confirmed a visit to Australia for February 2026, which will include two events: Grand Slam Australia 2026 and a House Rules live event.
