The debut edition of AEW Battle of the Belts on Saturday night was a rating success for the promotion and TNT.
The one-hour special drew 704,000 viewers and did a 0.27 rating in the 18-49 demographic, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics. It ranked #11 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show:

The last time AEW programming aired on a Saturday night was AEW Rampage on Christmas that averaged 589,000 viewers and did a 0.26 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Last Wednesday’s Dynamite had 1.01 million viewers and a 0.43 demo rating while this past Friday’s Rampage did 588,000 and a 0.24 rating.
The show featured Sammy Guevara defeating Dustin Rhodes to win the Interim TNT Championship, Ricky Starks retaining the FTW Title over Matt Syda, and Britt Baker defeating Riho via submission to retain the AEW Women’s Championship in the main event. AEW will host four of these specials every quarter on TNT.
