AEW Dynamite shows will be able to welcome fans back to shows much sooner than many of us expected.
Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida has announced that concerts are returning to the venue at full-capacity. The first show advertised is for 4/23 featuring Machine Gun Kelly.
This is significant because it’s the same venue where AEW runs its Dynamite live shows and tapings. AEW has been running at limited capacity for months. It would appear that they now have the green light to increase their capacity at shows.
Florida is among the states with the most relaxed rules for the pandemic. Daily’s Place is an open air venue, which means it’s safer to run events than in a typical arena.
There’s no word on when AEW plans to run shows with increased capacity. Obviously, Tony Khan has the final say so it’s not a lock that he will be open to allowing more fans in at shows right away.
LIVE MUSIC IS BACK! @machinegunkelly live and on-stage for a full-capacity show, Friday, 4/23.
