The newest member of the Death Riders, Daniel Garcia, will make his in-ring debut as a part of the faction on this Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision. In a trios match announced on Friday night, Garcia will team with his new stablemates, Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli, to take on the Paragon duo of Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, who will be joined by Garcia’s former tag team partner, Matt Menard.
The newly formed trio will be looking to get back on track after a confrontation on this past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. The group was in the ring to make a final recruitment pitch to the new AEW Women’s World Champion, Kris Statlander, an offer she denied.
Her rejection of the group led to a standoff that was interrupted by Darby Allin, who emerged with a flamethrower to run the Death Riders out of the ring. Now, the faction will look to re-establish its dominance on Collision, while also preparing for another trios match on next week’s Dynamite, where they are scheduled to face the team of AEW World Champion Hangman Page, Samoa Joe, and Powerhouse Hobbs.
The rest of the card for Saturday’s AEW Collision is also stacked with several matches. TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher will defend his title against Komander. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens of The Acclaimed will take on the team of Lee Johnson and Blake Christian, now known as Swirl.
In another tag team contest, Eddie Kingston will team up with Hook to face Big Bill and Bryan Keith. The show will also feature a women’s division match, as the former AEW Women’s World Champion, Jamie Hayter, will go one-on-one with Julia Hart of the House of Black.
