AEW Collision Spoilers: New All Out Match Stipulation Set, Unified Title Qualifiers

All Elite Wrestling taped the September 13 episode of its Saturday night show, AEW Collision, on Thursday from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The show saw additions made to the All Out card, including the top matches and the final qualifiers for the Unified Championship match.

The spoilers from the taping, courtesy of PWInsider, first note that the show featured an in-ring segment between MJF and his All Out opponent, Mark Briscoe. MJF was being interviewed by Ian Riccaboni when Briscoe appeared on the video screen and officially named the stipulation for their match at the pay-per-view. The two will now face off in a Tables and Thumbtacks No Disqualification match. Briscoe then came out to confront MJF, who was able to escape through the crowd.

Two qualifying matches were held to determine the final two entrants in the three-way match for the AEW Unified Championship at All Out. In the first qualifier, Konosuke Takeshita defeated Anthony Bowens to earn his spot in the match. Later in the show, the reigning AEW Unified Champion, Kazuchika Okada, defeated Michael Oku to retain his title and secure his own place in the three-way, which will now see him defend against both Takeshita and the previously qualified Swerve Strickland.

In other action from the taping, the team of Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia defeated Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong in a tag team match. A five-on-five women’s tag team match saw the team of The Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, & Skye Blue), Penelope Ford, and Megan Bayne defeat the team of Jamie Hayter, Tay Melo, Anna Jay, Kris Statlander, and the returning Harley Cameron. Also, Big Bill defeated Max Caster, and Juice Robinson was victorious over Bryan Keith.

The show also featured a backstage segment involving Jerry Lynn, The Acclaimed, and the team of Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. After Caster’s match, he attacked his partner, Anthony Bowens, backstage, and the two brawled to the ringside area. This led to Christian and Johnson attacking Jerry Lynn before Caster and Bowens reunited to make the save.

In a segment that will likely air off-air for the live crowd, Tony Khan brought out the legendary Doug Gilbert and Tommy Rich to honor them and Doug’s late brother, the iconic “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert.
