AEW Collision Spoilers For Saturday: Title Change, Wrestler Finishes Up

Spoilers for the upcoming January 17 episode of AEW Collision reveal that a title change took place at the taping in Phoenix, Arizona. “Hangman” Adam Page and the team of JetSpeed (Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight) defeated The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) to become the new AEW World Trios Champions.

This was done as Hobbs finished up with AEW and is reportedly expected to join WWE. Here are the spoilers:

Jetspeed and “Hangman” Adam Page defeated “The Opps” (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) to capture the AEW World Trios Championships.

Immediately following the main event, Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana appeared on the stage. In a cryptic display, they applauded the new champions rather than confronting them, leaving Hangman Page visibly on edge.

Tony Schiavone interviewed AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR and Stokely Hathaway. Hathaway surprisingly praised Jake Doyle and Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family, officially declaring them the new Number 1 Contenders for the tag titles.

Andrade El Idolo secured a clean victory over Angelico, continuing his climb up the singles rankings.

Eddie Kingston and Ortiz defeated the Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) in a hard-hitting tag team bout.

Marina Shafir defeated Zayda Steel. However, the post-match scene was chaotic as the Don Callis Family launched a coordinated attack on guest commentator Jon Moxley. The Death Riders quickly stormed the ring to save Moxley, sending the Callis Family retreating.

Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander, and El Clon defeated the trio of Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin, and Darius Martin. After the bell, Konosuke Takeshita entered the ring and warmly embraced Fletcher but blatantly brushed off Don Callis, hinting at a major split within the faction.

Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford defeated Danielle Kamela and Viva Van. Their celebration was cut short when “Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa confronted them, signaling a new rivalry.

Post-Match Brawl: Jack Perry defeated Anthony Bowens in singles action. The night ended with a violent brawl between Perry and Ricochet, who attacked Perry immediately after the match concluded.
