The mystery of the name of AEW’s first-ever console video game has been revealed as AEW President Tony Khan confirmed at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite event that "AEW: Fight Forever" will be the title. The company previously filed a trademark for the name.
Khan also asked fans in attendance to do chants that were recorded for the game. Those chants were led by ring announcer Justin Roberts and were for FTR, Aubrey Edwards, Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood, Jeff Hardy, Sting, Adam Cole, and Adam "Hangman" Page.
A release date for the game has yet to be revealed, but Fightful Select recently reported that it could be released as early as September.
All Elite Wrestling has partnered with Yuke's, a video game developer based in Japan, to make the game. Yukes’ was the longtime developer for WWE’s video games until 2018.
According to an article published by Forbes, AEW has put in an eight-figure investment into making the game. AEW already has mobile games out such as AEW Elite General Manager, and AEW Casino: Double or Nothing.
