AEW Double Or Nothing: Young Bucks vs. The Hardys, Jeff Hardy callback to his WWE release

In the second match of the night, The Young Bucks took on The Hardys.

The Bucks got an Elvis-inspired theme before their regular "Superkick Party" theme played. The Bucks dominated most of the match for the first several minutes until Jeff Hardy hit a Whisper in the Wind on Nick Jackson. Jeff was unsteady on the top rope because his boot got undone.

Late in the match, Nick accidentally kicked his brother and Brandon Cutler in the face. There was an awesome spot that led to Nick hitting a Swanton on Jeff. Then they followed up with the Superkick party. The Hardys got up and took more kicks to the face and they kicked out of a double pin attempt. Jeff hit a Swanton on Nick on the steel steps on the outside and Matt hit the Twist of Fate but Nick kicked out. Matt hit another Twist of Fate and Jeff hit a Swanton to win the match. Jeff then jumped the rail and left through the crowd in a clear jab at his situation that led to his WWE release.
