The lineup for the highly anticipated Women’s World Title Eliminator four-way match at tomorrow night’s AEW Dynamite: Beach Break in Chicago is now complete. AEW President Tony Khan took to social media on Monday, May 12th, to announce the final two participants.
Joining AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and the returning Skye Blue will be recent AEW signee Mina Shirakawa and the newly crowned NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion, AZM. This adds significant international star power and intrigue to the crucial #1 contender’s bout, with the winner earning a future shot at Storm’s title.
AZM is fresh off a major victory at NJPW Resurgence this past Friday, where she captured the STRONG Women’s Championship from Mercedes Moné in a three-way match that also included Mina Shirakawa, whom AZM pinned for the win. Both AZM and Shirakawa have impressed in previous AEW appearances.
Tomorrow’s Dynamite: Beach Break on May 14th also features AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defending against Samoa Joe in a steel cage match, Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament finalists Will Ospreay and “Hangman” Adam Page teaming up, and Ricochet facing Zach Gowen.
