The March 25 episode of AEW Dynamite drew 765,000 viewers on TBS with a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic, as first reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.
The number is the best total viewership for Dynamite since the MJF vs. Will Ospreay one-hour match, which aired before AEW began simulcasting on MAX. The number is especially notable because the episode aired against MLB Opening Day, Yankees vs. Giants on Netflix, which likely drew significant viewership.
The March 25 episode marked the second consecutive week of viewership gains for Dynamite. The prior week’s episode on March 18 drew 730,000 viewers with a 0.13 demo rating, which at the time was the highest viewership for the show since the Grand Slam Mexico special in 2025.
Wednesday’s Dynamite aired live from St. Paul, Minnesota, and was opened with Kenny Omega defeating Swerve Strickland to become the number one contender for MJF’s AEW World Championship. Omega vs. MJF was subsequently announced for AEW Dynasty on April 12 in Vancouver. The show also featured Jon Moxley vs. Will Ospreay being made official for Dynasty, Thekla retaining the AEW Women’s World Championship over Mina Shirakawa, and Darby Allin defeating RUSH in the main event.
These viewership figures reflect only linear television viewership on TBS and do not include streaming numbers from HBO Max.
AEW Dynamite Wednesday did 765K/0.14. Best viewer number since the MJF vs. Osperay one hour match and that was pre-MAX. Keep in mind this was against Opening Day which I suspect did a giant number. Don't have the standings yet.
