Welcome to our live coverage of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, which is emanating from The Arthur Ash Stadium in Queens, New York. Announced for tonight’s show, Pac will defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Orange Cassidy, Toni Storm will defend the Interim AEW women’s championship against Serena Deeb, Britt Baker, and Athena in a fatal four-way match, Swerve In Our Glory will defend the AEW tag team championships against The Acclaimed, Claudio Castagnoli will defend the Ring Of Honor world championship against Chris Jericho, and Bryan Danielson will take on Jon Moxley to determine the new AEW world champion. 

Match 1: ROH world championship: Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs Chris Jericho 

– The match starts off with both men shaking hands, Jericho then slaps Claudio, Claudio then hits a big boot on Jericho, knocking him to the outside, Claudio then catches Jericho in midair with an uppercut, Jericho then hits a suplex off the apron on Claudio as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Claudio drop Jericho in the corner with a double boot, Jericho then hits a top rope hurricarana on Claudio to secure a nearfall, audio then lands a series of elbows to the side of Jericho’s head, Claudio then locks in the sharpshooter on Jericho, Claudio then hits a sit-down powerbomb on Jericho to secure yet another nearfall, Jericho then catches Claudio in midair with a codebreaker to secure a nearfall, Jericho then locks in the walls of Jericho but Claudio is able to roll through, Claudio then swings Jericho, Jericho then tries to use the baseball bat but Claudio grabs it, Jericho then lowblows Claudio behind the referee’s back, followed by the judas effect to secure the pinfall victory. 

Winner via pinfall and NEW ROH World champion: Chris Jericho at 14:48. 

Match 2: AEW tag team championships: Swerve In Our Glory (c) vs The Acclaimed 

– The match starts off with Lee and Bowens, Lee then hits a hurricarana on Bowens, Swerve then hits a dropkick on Bowens and Caster as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Caster hit a powerslam on Swerve, followed by a superkick on Lee, followed by a suplex, Lee then throws Bowens to the outside, Swerve then accidentally hits Lee with a boombox, Bowens then hits a blockbuster on Lee from the top rope, Caster then goes for a mic drop but Caster’s knee gives out, Swerve then hits a powerbomb on Caster to secure a nearfall, Billy Gunn then hits a fameasser on Swerve on the outside, Caster then hits the mic drop on Swerve to secure the pinfall victory.

Winners via pinfall and NEW AEW tag team champions: The Acclaimed at 13:44. 

– Tony Schiavone attempts to interview Wheeler Yuta but MJF interrupts, MJF says that the devil has arrived, MJF calls the fans his devil worshipers, MJF says that the fans would drink his spit if they could, Yuta says that MJF is the king of the low hanging fruit, Yuta says that MJF’s fiancé will walk out on him, MJF tells Yuta to ask William Regal how to take pills, Yuta and MJF then brawl, W. Morrissey then chokes Yuta from behind, MJF then hits Yuta with the Dynamite diamond ring. 

Match 3: AEW All-Atlantic Championship: Pac (c) vs Orange Cassidy.

– The match starts off with Cassidy throwing his sunglasses at Pac, Pac then hits a shotgun dropkick on Cassidy, followed by a series of stomps in the corner, Pac then slams Cassidy face first into the ring apron, Pac then hits a corkscrew over the top rope onto Cassidy, Pac then hits a shotgun dropkick from the top rope onto Cassidy, Pac then sends Cassidy into the corner as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Pac land a running boot to the face of Cassidy in the corner, Pac then hits a german suplex on Cassidy, Cassidy then hits the stundog millionaire on Pac, followed by a tope suicida on the outside, followed by a diving DDT from the top rope and a tornado DDT to secure a nearfall, Cassidy then hits the orange punch on Pac but Pac is able to reach the bottom rope, Pac then hits Cassidy with the timekeeper’s hammer on the outside to secure the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall and STILL AEW All-Atlantic champion: Pac at 12:23.

Match 4: Interim AEW Women’s champion: Toni Storm (c) vs Serena Deeb vs Athena vs Britt Baker 

– The match starts off with Athena hitting Deeb with a big boot, Britt then hits a slingblade on Deeb, Athena then hits an avalanche powerbomb on all three women as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Toni and Serena lock in single leg boston crabs on Athena and Britt, Toni then hits a german suplex on Deeb, Athena then hits a double fallaway slam on Britt and Deeb, Toni then rolls up Britt to secure the pinfall victory. 

Winner via pinfall and STILL AEW Interim women’s champion: Toni Storm at 9:48.

– After the match, Britt Baker attacks Storm from behind, Jamie Hayter then comes out to help attack Storm as Deeb beats down Athena, Britt then hits the curbstomp on Athena, Saraya (formerly known as Paige) makes the save. 

Match 5: AEW championship: Jon Moxley vs Bryan Danielson 

– The match starts off with both men locking up, Bryan then hits a series of chops on Moxley in the corner, Bryan then lands a series of kicks to the chest of Moxley, Bryan then dropkicks Moxley off the apron, Bryan then hits a running knee strike off the apron onto Moxley, followed by a dropkick from the top rope, Bryan then hits a german suplex on Moxley on the apron as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Bryan land a knee to the back of Moxley, Bryan then hits the running knee to the face of Moxley to secure a nearfall, Moxley then hits a release german suplex on Bryan, Bryan then hits a backsuplex on Moxley from the top rope, Bryan then hits another running knee to the face of Moxley to secure a nearfall, Moxley then hits a curbstomp on Bryan, followed by the deathrider to secure a nearfall, Bryan then lands a series of stomps on Moxley, Moxley then hits the deathrider on the stage on Bryan to secure yet another nearfall, Moxley then locks in the bulldog choke to secure the submission victory. 

Winner via submission and NEW AEW world champion: Jon Moxley at 19:32.
