AEW Trios Championship match is made:

As Tony Schiavone was announcing the news of a new National Championship, The Opps came to the ring. Samoa Joe told Tony Schiavone he finds it hard to believe he had nothing to do with Hangman Adam Page being disguised as him last week. Officials came in the ring. Page then entered the ring. Joe said now we can take care of two problems at once. Schiavone left the ring. Joe, Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs exited the ring. Eddie Kingston and Hook entered the ring and the Opps left. Hook challenged the Opps to a Trios Championship match and Joe, standing on the ramp, accepted. Schiavone then announced that Tony Khan agreed to the match.

Orange Cassidy vs. Claudio Castagnoli in a Men’s Blood And Guts Advantage Match (Match 1)

Castagnoli had Cassidy tied up in the ropes and hit him with several uppercuts. Castagnoli had Cassidy on the top turnbuckle and Cassidy connected with a Slumdog Millionaire. Cassidy charged at Castagnoli and got hit with an uppercut followed by a pop-up uppercut and pinned him.

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

Backstage:

Renee Paquette interviewed Kyle Fletcher, Don Callis, and Mark Briscoe and warned them there would be no physicality. Briscoe said two weeks ago he challenged Fletcher to another match for his TNT title. He received a response from Callis, and now wants a response from Fletcher. He challenged him to a No Disqualification Match at Full Gear. Callis agreed only if Briscoe agrees to join the Don Callis Family if he loses the match. Briscoe said he isn’t going to lose, so he agreed to the stipulation.

Backstage:

Renee Paquette asked The Young Bucks if they joined the Don Callis Family. Before they could answer, Callis cut them off and said he sent them a care package. More of the Callis Family walked in. Matt said this is overwhelming. Okada told The Bucks not to take too long to decide.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Match: TBS Champion Mercedes Mone & ROH Champion Athena vs. Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale 

Cameron and Nightingale up and gave them both a fall-away slam. Billie Starkz came down and picked up one of the belts. Kris Statlander ran down the aisle and clotheslined Starks as Starks laid the belt on the ring apron. Athena grabbed the belt but Nightingale powerbombed her. Cameron then gave Athena a reverse spinning DDT and pinned her.

Tony Schiavone announced that at Full Gear, there will be a Casino Gauntlet Match with the winner being crowned the very first AEW National Champion. He brought out Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin who he said were two of the first to sign up for the Gauntlet match. They came to the ring with MVP. MVP called it the International Championship. The Demand came out. Ricochet said he will be the National Champion at Full Gear.

Darby Allin vs. Daniel Garcia in a Men’s Blood And Guts Advantage Match (Match 2)

Outside the ring, Garcia kicked the ring steps against Allin’s head. Allin came up bloodied. As the referee was holding Garcia back from going back outside the ring, PAC clothesline Allin. Allin made it back in the ring at the count of nine. Garcia locked in the Scorpion Death Lock. Allin escaped and locked in the Scorpion on Garcia which caused him to submit.

Winner: Darby Allin

After the match, PAC hit the ring and attacked Allin. Orange Cassidy came in the ring to combat PAC. Cassidy turned around and got hit with a flying kick by Wheeler Yuta. Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley all hit the ring as both teams fought each other.

FTR – Brodido confrontation

Cash Wheeler called out Brodido. The camera cut backstage where Brodido was trying to get out of their locker room. Stokely said he doesn’t know what happened to Brodido, but he’s been trying to get them out of there all night. Dax Harwood sarcastically said he wanted to shake their hands before their match at Full Gear. He went to the front row where Bandido’s family, including Gravity, were sitting. He insulted Bandido’s grandmother. She slapped Dax. Gravity jumped the barrier. FTR immediately attacked them. They cut to the back. We saw an arm punch through the door which was clearing cardboard. They again cut to the ring and FTR was getting ready to spike pile-drive Gravity. Before they could do so, Stokely ran down the aisle with Brodido chasing after him. FTR and Stokely ran away before Brodido could catch them.

Mina Shirakawa vs. Megan Bayne (w/ Penelope Ford) in a Women’s Blood And Guts Advantage Match (Match 1)

Toni Storm was on commentary. Mina Shafir grabbed Storm from behind and put her in a choke. Shirakawa was distracted by this. She turned around and Bayne hit her with a flying clothesline. She then powerbombed Mina and pinned her.

Winner: Megan Bayne

After the match, Shafir threw Storm into the ring steps. Bayne and Shafir double-teamed Mina. Storm entered the ring with a chair which forced Shafir and Bayne to leave the ring. The Triangle of Madness then attacked Storm and Mina from behind until Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, and Jamie Hayter entered the ring. With everybody brawling in the ring, Mercedes Mone ran down the aisle but decided not to get involved. Mone turned around and was attacked by Kris Statlander. Statlander then hit the ring and help the faces clear the ring of the heels.

AEW World Trios Championship Match: The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata (Champions) vs AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page, Eddie Kingston, and Hook

Hobbs and Page fought up the aisle when Hobbs slammed Page off the entrance ramp onto a table. In the ring, Joe held Kingston for Shibata to kick him. Kingston moved out of the way and the kicked hit Joe. Hobbs caught Hook in the backbreaker which forced him to submit.

Winners and still AEW World Trios Champions: The Opps

After the match, the graphic went up on the screen that it will be Hangman Page vs Powerhouse Hobbs in a Falls Count Anywhere Match next week on Dynamite.
