AEW Dynamite continues its residency at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago tonight with a special Shark Week edition of the show. Both of AEW’s top world champions will be in non-title action, and several major storylines will continue to unfold.
World Champions In Action
The new AEW World Champion, “Hangman” Adam Page, will be in action as his war with the Death Riders continues. He is set to go one-on-one with the faction’s Wheeler Yuta. In the women’s division, AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm will face a tough test in Athena’s protegé, Billie Starkz, in a title eliminator match.
Major Storylines Continue To Brew
Tonight’s show will also likely feature the fallout from several developing situations. Tensions are brewing between the new AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada and Swerve Strickland after Okada called out Swerve last week. The rift between former friends Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander continues to deepen, and Adam Copeland is still on his quest for revenge against FTR. The wrestling world will also be watching for Darby Allin, who was seen lurking in the rafters last week during the war between Hangman Page’s allies and the Death Riders.
