AEW Dynamite Preview: TBS Title Match, Kenny Omega Vs. Swerve Strickland

Willow Nightingale is scheduled to defend her AEW TBS Championship tonight on Dynamite. Since winning the TBS title from Mercedes Mone on the New Year’s Smash episode—ending Moné’s nearly 600-day reign—Nightingale has defended the gold once against Julia Hart. She has now been booked in a high-stakes multi-woman match with her championship on the line.

Just hours before the February 18, 2026, episode of Dynamite, AEW’s official social media page shared its updated lineup for the show. The update confirmed that Nightingale will face Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne, and Mina Shirakawa in a four-way match. Shafir recently competed on Collision alongside Wheeler Yuta, while Shirakawa picked up a victory over Viva Van on the same program.

The upcoming four-way match will mark Nightingale’s second title defense in her current reign. Apart from her success as a singles competitor, Nightingale is also a double champion, currently holding the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships with her “Babes of Wrath” partner Harley Cameron. The duo previously defeated Mercedes Moné and Athena in the opening round of the tournament to crown the inaugural champions.

Nightingale and Cameron are also preparing for a tag team title defense against the team of Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford, known as “MegaBad,” at the upcoming AEW Grand Slam Australia event. Nightingale recently re-signed with AEW, stating that her goals include continuing her dominant run as TBS Champion and potentially pursuing the ROH Women’s World Championship in the future.

Tonight’s episode of Dynamite takes place at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, California. The updated lineup for the broadcast includes:

  • AEW TBS Championship: Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Marina Shafir vs. Megan Bayne vs. Mina Shirakawa
  • Kenny Omega vs. Swerve Strickland
  • MJF and Hangman Page face-to-face segment
  • The television debut of the “Brawling Birds”
