Jon Moxley vs Rush
Rush kicked Moxley down into the corner of the ring. Rush charged at Moxley, but Moxley hit him with a clothesline and a Death Rider. Moxley then caught Rush in a chokehold and Rush passed out.

In a pre-taped interview, Jay White said Jey Lethal was one of the best in the world when I was cutting my teeth in ROH. That was the man I looked up too, but look how things have changed. Jay Lethal said I need this victory.
Roderick Strong said it’s obvious MJF is going to put his dagger into the heart of my best friend by proxy, Samoa Joe. Strong got out of the wheelchair and said I will no longer be held back by this chair.
Renee Paquette was outside MJF’s dressing room, but MJF didn’t come out. Hangman Page passed by and said Swerve Strickland beat me at Full Gear, but I took something from you that you will never get back. We are bound by something bigger than either of this and this is not over. I know what you want more than anything in this life and I will make sure you never have it. MJF came out of his dressing room and told Page it was impressive seeing your match with Strickland battling it out on who can get more STDs. Page said I don’t have 30 minutes to stand here and talk to me like you normally do. This is your interview, so I’ll let you have it. Page started to walk away and MJF said the reason I have to go 30 minutes is to wake the crowd up after they have to deal with you beforehand putting them to sleep. Page came back and said is there something you want to say to me. MJF and Page recalled their history together in AEW. MJF told Page I think you’re the devil. Page told MJF that he thinks its him. When it looked like they were going to start coming to blows, MJF stepped between them. Joe told MJF we have other issues tonight and they don’t involve him.
Continental Classic Gold League Match
Swerve Strickland vs Mark Briscoe
Mark came off the top rope with an elbow, but Swerve got his knees up and rolled Jay over for a near fall. Swerve blocked a J-Driller on the apron and Swerve gave Mark a Death Valley Driver. Swerve came off the top rope with a Swerve Stomp and pinned Mark.

Backstage, Mariah May said Tony Khan signed me and we planned my debut. She did not want to say who her first opponent will be because tonight it’s all about Toni Storm.
Samoa Joe came to the ring for his tag team match that he was supposed to have with MJF as his partner. Masked men surrounded the ring. The lights went out. The lights came back on. The masked men were gone. The devil appeared on the screen. MJF was shown on the video screen lying unconscious in the back on the ground with a bottle smashed over his head.
Backstage, Jon Moxley and Swerve Strickland both said they’re going to win the Continental Classic as they get ready for their match against each other next week.
AEW Women’s World Championship Match
Toni Storm (champion) (w/ Luther) vs Skye Blue
Storm and Blue fought on the turnbuckle. Storm gave Sky a superplex. Blue countered the Storm Zero by rolling her up, but Storm reversed it to roll her up and pin her. After the match, Riho returned and gave Storm a dropkick.

Continental Classic Gold League Match
Jay White vs Jay Lethal
White gave Lethal a Sleeper Suplex. White blocked a Lethal Injection. Lethal rolled up White for a near fall. Lethal went for the Lethal Injection again, but White clipped Lethal’s leg and rolled up Lethal for the pin.

TNT Championship Match
Christian Cage (champion) vs Adam Copeland
Christian charged at Copeland. Copeland moved out of the referee and ran into the referee in doing so and the ref was bent over. Christian kicked the referee between his legs. Christian brought the belt into the ring. Christian tried to hit Copeland with the belt, but Copeland ducked. They both went for a spear on each other and both went down. Shannon Wayne got in the ring, picked up the belt, and hit Copeland with it. Cage hit the Killswitch on Copeland. Christian rolled Edge onto the belt and kicked him in the neck. Christian covered Copeland and the referee recovered to make the three-count.
