AEW All-Atlantic Championship Match: Orange Cassidy (champion) vs Wheeler Yuta
Claudio Castagnoli made his way to ringside and slapped Yuta to inspire him to be more aggressive in this match.
Cassidy hit Yuta with the elbow strikes. Yuta rolled Cassidy into a pin, but Cassidy kicked out. Cassidy hit Yuta with the Orange Punch, but Yuta kicked out. Cassidy hit the Beach Break but again only got a two count. Cassidy hit another Orange Punch on Yuta and pinned him. Cassidy wanted to give Yuta a hug after the match, but Castagnoli came back out and signaled for Yuta to come over to him. Yuta walked by Cassidy without hugging him and got out of the ring. Winner: Orange Cassidy
Backstage, Rene Paquette asked Evil Uno how he was preparing for his match tonight with Jon Moxley. As he was about to answer, Adam Page interrupted him. Before Page could speak, Uno said he heard him say a lot of times not to get involved, but when he hears that, he hears him saying Dark Order is not on his level. He requested that no matter what happens in the match, he doesn’t want Page to get involved because it’s time for them to stand up for themselves.
In the ring, Ricky Starks said he realizes that Chris Jericho will not give him a rematch, so he is moving on. He has an open contract for Revolution. Jericho said he knows Starks is trying to bait him into another match with him. Starks said he’s over and done with Jericho, but Jericho said he’s not done until he says so, but he’s not getting another match because he’s not at his level. He told him good luck with his open challenge. Peter Avalon came out and Jericho gave him the Judas Effect. Jericho entered the ring and said maybe he should sign that contract. Starks told Jericho he doesn’t understand why he needs the JAS to help him in his matches. He played mind games with Jericho saying that Jericho could beat him one on one. Jericho said he’s right that he could beat him and he would sign the contract that says he would fight him and the JAS would have to stay in the back, but he doesn’t have a pen. Starks said he does. Jericho signed the contract and told Starks to be careful what you wish for because nobody outsmarts the Ocho.
Lee Moriarty & Big Bill (with Stokely Hathaway) vs The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) (with Daddy Ass)
The Gunn Club made their way to ringside and attacked Daddy Ass. The Acclaimed ran them off. Castor ran Bill into the ring post. Bowens hit the Arrival on Moriarty and made the tag to Caster who came off the top rope with the Mic Drop and pinned him. Winners: The Acclaimed
Tony Schiavone introduced Christian Cage. As Cage came out, Jungle Boy Jack Perry jumped Cage. Perry got two chairs and was going to hit Cage with the concerto, but hesitated. As it looked like he was going to follow through with it, Cage gave him a low blow. Cage repeatedly slammed Perry’s head into the chair that was lying on the ground which busted him open.
Saraya (with Toni Storm) vs Skye Blue
Storm interfered several times in the match. Blue hit Saraya with a knee strike followed by a dropkick. Blue went for the pin, but the referee was distracted by Storm who jumped up on the ring apron. Blue punched Storm, sending her off the apron. She turned around and was met with a kick by Saraya. Saraya locked Blue into a step through standing Boston crab to submit her. Winner: Saraya. After the match, Saraya and Storm were going to spray paint Blue, but Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker came in the ring before it could happen. As Saraya and Storm made their way up the ramp, Ruby Soho made her appearance and motioned to Hayter that she wanted her AEW Championship.
In the ring, Bryan Danielson said MJF hates him but yet he tried to injure William Regal. MJF came out and said he’s the guy who got stranded by anybody he ever opened up to. He found a girl who convinced him not everybody is like that, so he proposed to her. That girl left him because he was unlovable. The only thing that he can trust and makes him feel like he has unconditional love is the AEW Championship. It’s the only thing that stops him from taking a fistful of pills and calling it a day. He said Bryan Danielson has a beautiful family but he takes that for granted. He hates Bryan because he has had more head trauma than anybody in this business and he’s still in his sport. When he steps foot in that ring, he’s saying wrestling is more important than his family and his children. He is taking everything he would kill for, for granted. He’s no different than his worthless, drug addicted mentor, William Regal who he gladly sent home to the hospital. He said Bryan is worse because he’s addicted to the spotlight, but at Revolution, he’s going to get all the spotlight he needs because he’s going to punish him for trying to take the one thing he has in this life. He said now he’s going to take this time to speak to his children watching at home. Bryan told him not to bring his children into this or he’s going to kick the shit out of him. MJF looked into the camera and told Bryan’s kids that daddy is going to pay for his selfishness. MJF continued his rant going into the ring where Bryan jumped MJF. They whaled away at each other with security trying to hold them back, but they both kept breaking free.
Backstage, Hayter said Saraya is trying to ruin everything from the ground up. Hayter believes Ruby Soho also deserves a shot at the title. At Revolution, she wants this to be a Three-way for the title.
Revolution Tag Team Battle Royale: The Lucha Brothers, Los Ingobernables, The Jericho Appreciation Society, Aussie Open, Tony Neese & Ari Daivari, Dark Order, Best Friends, Butcher & The Blade, Top Flight, Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal
It came to Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal and Trent Beretta. Satnam Singh helped save Jarrett & Lethal a couple times from being eliminated. Jarrett gave Beretta the Stroke and threw Beretta over the top rope, but Beretta hung on. Lethal and both tried to throw Beretta over the top rope and strutted thinking they eliminated him, but Beretta landed on Orange Cassidy’s shoulder. Beretta came back in the ring, but Sonjay Dutt held him in the corner. Lethal charged at Beretta who backflipped him over the top rope. Beretta dumped Jarrett over the top rope, but was again saved by Singh. Jarrett gave Beretta the stroke and threw him over the top rope to win the match. Winners: Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal.
Vignette, House of Black said they will confront the AEW Trios Champions face to face this Friday.
Backstage, Tony Khan said he has a big announcement, but he is going to have Adam Cole announce it. Cole said starting in March, there is going to be a weekly one hour television series immediately after Dynamite called AEW All Access. It will be an unfiltered look at AEW like we’ve never seen it before. That same night of the debut, Cole is going to make his in-ring return.
Backstage, The Gunn Club told Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, & Satnam Singh that they should take care of each other’s business before Revolution.
Jon Moxley vs Evil Uno
Moxley gave Uno a curb stomp on the ring steps which caused Uno to bleed. Uno got back in the ring but was met by a storm of punches by Moxley. Uno came back and delivered two piledrivers on Moxley, but only got a two count. Moxley drove elbows down on Uno and then applied a sleeper and the referee stopped the match to win his 100th match. Moxley would not release the hold sending a message to Adam Page. John Silver and Alex Reynolds came down to break it up, but Castagnoli and Yuta came in to counteract Silver and Reynolds. Page came down and went at it with Moxley. Page put barb wire on his fist and hit Moxley in the head, splitting him wide open. Page went for the Buckshot Lariat, but Moxley bailed out of the ring.
