Tonight’s show will feature the finals of the Best of 7 series between The Elite and Death Triangle for the Trios Title. Also, Jon Moxley vs. Hangman Page, Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker vs. Saraya and Toni Storm, and Bryan Danielson vs. Konosuke Takeshita.

Jon Moxley vs “Hangman” Adam Page

They start the match swinging fists to the roar of the crowd. The crowd is chanting “Cowboy Shit”. They continue to brawl as the crowd now chants for Moxley. Page gave Moxley a suplex but Moxley got up immediately only to be hit by a brutal clothesline by Page. This is turning into a great fight as the crowd is chanting, “This is awesome.” Moxley gave Page a piledriver but only got a count of one. Moxley tried to give Page another piledriver, but Page reversed it into a Deadeye. They then broke into a hockey fight in the center of the ring. Page then hit Moxley with the Buckshot Lariat and pinned Moxley. Doc Sampson came in to check on Moxley. You can hear Moxley say, “What happened?” as Sampson was checking on him. 

We return from the break. Excalibur informs us that Doc Sampson walked Jon Moxley to the back and is being attended to. 

Interview: Adam Cole

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and announces Adam Cole. Cole comes down the aisle to a huge reaction as we have not seen him in months since his injury. Cole said he has good news and bad news. He said the good news is after the last few months, he has a new appreciation not just for pro wrestling, but for his life. He said he has been really banged up. He had a shoulder that was torn to shreds. He had two back to back very serious head injuries. He said he was scared as he was seeing doctors multiple times a week. He had MRI’s on his brain. He had headaches and dizzy spells multiple times a day. If he was in a car, he would vomit. He had anxiety at night. He said the outpouring of support from the fans meant the world to him as he thanked the crowd. He said the bad news is not for him. The bad news is for the AEW locker room as he is back and not going anywhere. He said he thought his career was over, but he is not done yet. He said he wants everybody to remember this day where the new Adam Cole is born and he will promise, no matter how long it takes, he will be at the top of the mountain.

Backstage interview: The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn

The Acclaimed said this Friday on Rampage, they will be in Hollywood. They said the Hollywood board of directors have unanimously voted for The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass to receive stars on the Walk of Fame, so their scissors are going to live in concrete forever. 

Lee Moriarty and Big Bill (with Stokely Hathaway) vs Hook and Jungle Boy Jack Perry

Jack Perry gave Big Bill a dropkick off the top rope sending him into Hook who gave Big Bill an overhead suplex. Moriarty tried to roll up Perry but Perry kicked out. Perry then got Moriarty in the snare trap forcing Moriarty to tap out.

Backstage interview: Orange Cassidy, Danhausen, and Golden Globe winner Paul Walter Hauser. 

Danhausen thought Paul’s last name was Hausen. Paul asked Cassidy if everything is ok with The Best Friends.

Konosuke Takeshita vs Bryan Danielson

Takeshita came down the aisle and into the ring. MFJ’s music played as he came into the ring. MJF told Takeshita he’s never seen any of his stuff, but not to feel bad as when he watches the show back, he fast forwards to his own segments. MFJ asked if his name is Take a shitta. He asked for him to not take one in his pants as he needs him to win tonight. Takeshita responded in Japanese. MJF said that he thought Danielson was a poor spearker. Takeshita then said he told MJF to kiss his ass. MJF pushed him and Takeshita pushed him back. MJF told Audrey Edwards to get him out of the ring. MJF said he is hearing people saying he can’t last an hour in the ring. He said if you have to ask, then ask your mother and your sister. MJF pointed out Ken Jeong is here in the front row and ran down his movies. He then pointed out Freddie Prinze Jr is in the house. Fans chanted for Freddie. MJF he only knows him as a supporting role to a CGI talking dog, so he isn’t anything but a Scooby Dooby Douche bag. MJF said if Danielson doesn’t win tonight, there will be no one hour Iron Man match. Danielson came down the aisle and into the ring and MJF ran out of the ring and up the aisle.

The match between Bryan and Takeshita starts. 

Hard hitting action back and forth. Takeshita went for a German suplex but Danielson landed on his feet. Danielson hit him with the flying knee, but Takeshita kicked out. Danielson then trapped Takeshita’s legs together and gave him a version of the crossface to make Takeshita submit. Danielson and Takeshita shook hands after the match.

Backstage Interview: Juice Robinson

Juice said if Darby Allin is issuing open challenges, he’s accepting that challenge on Rampage this Friday.

Toni Storm and Saraya vs Jamie Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker (with Rebel)

As all four were fighting outside the ring, Hikaru Shida made her way down to ringside and went to the corner of Storm and Saraya. As Storm and Hayter were slugging it out in the ring, Rebel got on the ring apron which distracted the referee. Shida threw her kendo stick into the ring. Britt Baker came in to the ring, picked up the kendo stick, and hit Storm in the back with it. Hayter then hit the Hayteraid on Storm for the pin. Shida looked suprised as Taz said that was not Shida’s intention.

Announced for Rampage this Friday is Anna Jay A.S. and Tay Melo vs Ruby Soho and Willow Nightingale in a street fight. Eddie Kingston and Ortiz vs Kings of the Black Throne. They then show Kingston and Ortiz backstage. Kingston asked Ortiz if he’s happy now that they got the match and if he trusts him now. Kingston said he’s getting tired of him questioning him. Also, Darby Allin defends the Darby Allin defends against Juice Robinson. Then next Wednesday on Dynamite, Bryan Danielson vs Bandido and Jake Hager vs Ricky Starks.

Interview in the ring: The Jericho Appreciation Society

Chris Jericho mentioned that they invaded PWG Battle of Las Angeles a couple nights ago. He said they sent Action Andretti back to the minor leagues and the Ricky Starks experiment is over. This brought out Andretti and Starks. Starks challenged Jake Hager to a match next week on Dynamite. Excalibur said Ricky Starks went to Tony Khan earlier and Tony Khan already signed that match for next week on Dynamite. 

Match 7: Ladder match for the AEW Trios Championship: The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks vs Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El Zero Miedo, and Rey Fenix (with Alex Abrahantes)

Lots of crazy dives and spots with the ladders as well as tables. Omega hit the one winged angel on Fenix off the ladder. PAC went for the corkscrew splash off the top rope on Omega, but Omega got his knees up. Omega then climbed the ladder and grabbed the belt. The Elite are the AEW Trios Champions.
