Will Ospreay vs Katsuyori Shibata

Ospreay gave Shibata an Oz Cutter for a one-count. Shibata hit Ospreay with a clothesline. Shibata caught Ospreay with a choke, but Ospreay immediately got out of it and gave him a back suplex for a near fall. Ospreay gave Shibata the Tiger Driver and the Hidden Blade to pin him. Ospreay and Shibata bowed to each other and hugged after the match.

Backstage, The Young Bucks said we are going to get our AEW World Tag Team titles back and it starts tonight when we beat Private Party.

AEW World Tag Team Title Tournament Match
The Young Bucks (Nicholas & Matthew Jackson) vs Private Party (Zay & Quen) 

Nicholas came in with the ring bell, but the referee prevented him from using it. While this was going on, Matthew gave Zay a low blow. Quen hit Matthew with the title belt. Zay went for the cover, the referee turned around to make the count, but Nicholas draped Matthew’s foot on the rope. Quen missed a splash off the top rope. The Bucks gave Quen the EVP Trigger and they both covered him for the win.
===Winners: The Young Bucks

A video package aired of Konsuke Takeshita. Don Callis said Takeshita will defeat Swerve Strickland tonight.

Darby Allin and Tony Hawk were in a pre-taped interview. Darby said originally he was going to climb Mount Everest for Tony’s charity, The Skateboard Project, but he broke his foot.

Backstage, Chris Jericho told HOOK you exceeded my expectations when we fought each other. If you want any advice that I have, I’m here for you. HOOK said I’ll take advice from you, but I know who you are. Jericho told HOOK I know who you can be.

Four Way #1 Contender’s match for the TBS title:
Willow Nightingale vs Anna Jay vs Kris Statlander vs Skye Blue

Mercedes Mone was on commentary. Willow gave Blue a Death Valley Driver on the ring apron. Anna rolled up Statlander for a near fall. Anna gave Statlander a back kick. Willow gave Anna a powerbomb and pinned her. After the match, Julia Hart hit Willow in the back with her title belt. Hart and Mone had a staredown. 
===Winner: Willow Nightingale

Backstage, Dustin Rhodes said right now at 55 years old, I’m still as passionate as ever. The Butcher showed up and challenged Dustin to a match this Friday on Rampage and Dustin accepted.

Ben Mankiewicz from Turner Classic Movies congratulated Toni Storm for being AEW Women’s World Champion and helping redefine the artistry of professional wrestling. 

A video package aired of Swerve Strickland. Strickland said he is going to beat Takeshita tonight and go on to beat Samoa Joe for the AEW Championship.

AEW World Tag Team Title Tournament Match
Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta (w/ Chuck Taylor) vs Matt Taven & Mike Bennett (w/ Roderick Strong)

Beretta and Cassidy gave Taven DDTs. Beretta hit Taven with a running knee strike. Roderick Strong got on the ring apron and took off his title belt. Taylor pulled him off the apron, but Strong punched him. Cassidy slid outside the ring after Strong as Strong slid inside the ring. Cassidy got back in the ring. Strong dropped the belt in the ring as he was getting out of it. The referee picked up the belt. As the referee was getting the belt out of the ring, Taven got on the top turnbuckle. Taylor knocked Taven off the turnbuckle and Taven crotched himself. Beretta rolled up Bennett and pinned him. 
===Winners: Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta

Backstage, Kyle O’Reilly said I love the guys in Undisputed Kingdom, but I will continue to win my matches on his own.

A pre-taped video package aired on Adam Copeland beating Christian Cage for the TNT Championship. Copeland said he has an open challenge to anybody for Collision. 

Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana) vs Konosuke Takeshita (w/ Don Callis)

Strickland came off the top rope on Takeshita with a Stomp for a near fall. Strickland battered his head into Takeshita’s jaw. Takeshita hit Strickland’s jaw with a knee strike. Strickland blocked a pop up powerbomb and gave Strickland a Stomp. Strickland hit Takeshita with the Big Pressure and pinned him. With the win, Strickland became the number one contender for Samoa Joe’s AEW World Championship.
===Winner: Swerve Strickland

Backstage, Samoa Joe said next week when Swerve Strickland walks to the ring to sign the contract, I’m going to make sure you understand what you’re asking for.
