Jack Perry vs Matt Hardy (w/ Ethan Page)
Perry and Hardy shook hands to start the match. Page threw Perry over the barricade behind Perry’s back. Page continued to interfere without Hardy seeing it. Hook came down to combat Page’s interference and they started fighting each other. Hardy tried to hold Hook back and Page went to swing at Hook. Hook ducked and Page’s blow landed on Hardy. Perry dove through the ropes on Hardy. Hardy tried for the Twist of Fate, but Perry hit him with the Flatliner and hit him with an elbow to the back and pinned him.
Winner: Jack Perry
After the match, MJF got in the ring. MJF said he didn’t appreciate Perry interfering in his bar mitzva. MJF said his job is a joke. He barely wrestles, doesn’t have to break a sweat, gets to come out here and obliterate the fans, collects a check, and goes back home. He said Perry has every right to be pissed because he worked his ass off. He scratched and clawed his way up the ladder for the fans, but he doesn’t recall the fans thanking Perry. MJF said Perry should not be pissed at him or this company, he should be pissed off at himself. After their match at Double or Nothing in 2020, MJF felt like he met his equal and he respected and shook his hand in the back. Perry said that MJF told him that if he ever is going to be as big as he is, he needed to ditch his friends and only care about himself. MJF said Dino Dush, Marko Stunted Growth, and Christian Cage held him back, and Hook won’t be any different. Perry said when he wins the AEW Championship, at least he won’t hate the man he sees in the mirror. MJF said that it took Perry four years to learn how to talk. He took MJF’s girlfriend Anna Jay aside and she told him Perry is weak between the knees. Perry tackled MJF and started hitting him before MJF slid out of the ring.
Backstage, Don Callis said last week he grabbed Hangman Page’s wrist and he lost his balance. He asked Kenny why would he assume his friend, Adam Page, would attack him. Callis told Omega he is going to apologize to Hangman and make everything right.
They had a vignette of Billy Gunn and The Acclaimed going out with Jake Hager, Angelo Parker, and Matt Menard around town and asked them to join the JAS. The Acclaimed said they will let them know next Wednesday night.
Dalton Castle & The Boys (Brandon & Brent) vs Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, & Wheeler Yuta)
The Blackpool Combat Club attacked Castle and The Boys before the match. Castagnoli hit the Ricola Bomb on Brent and pinned him.
Winners: The Blackpool Combat Club
Backstage, Adam Page said Nick Jackson has a separated shoulder and Matt’s bicep is partially torn. Page said it was the BCC who attacked The Young Bucks last week. Don Callis apologized to Page and said he doesn’t want to get between him and Omega. He reached out his hand to Page, but the BCC attacked Page. Callis went to shake Jon Moxley’s hand, but Moxley hit Callis which busted him open.
Backstage, Tony Schiavone let Kenny Omega know that the BCC attacked Adam Page and Don Callis
IWGP United States Championship Match:
Kenny Omega (champion) vs Jeff Cobb
Cobb hit a V-Trigger on Omega. He went for the One Winged Angel, but Omega escaped. Omega avoided the Tour of the Islands and hit a V-Trigger on Cobb. Omega then hit the One Winged Angel on Cobb and pinned him.
Winner: Kenny Omega
After the match, The BCC surrounded the ring with Omega still in it. Bryan Danielson came in the ring and told the BCC to get off the ring apron. It looked like Danielson was angry at the BCC for getting ready to attack Omega. Danielson helped Omega to his feet, Omega turned his back, and Danielson hit him with the Busaiku knee. All the member of The BCC then attacked Omega.
Backstage, The Gunns said FTR is one of the best tag teams, but it took them 19 years to get to this point. It took The Gunns two years. The Gunns said FTR used to be there heroes, but then they met them, and now hate them and no longer respect them. Next week the FTR tag line actually makes sense, ‘Top guys out.’
AEW International Championship Match:
Orange Cassidy (champion) vs The Butcher (w/ The Blade)
The Blade came in and hit Cassidy with a crowbar to Cassidy’s back. Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta came down and attacked The Blade and took his crowbar. The Butcher came out to confront them, but Beretta hit him with the crowbar and threw him back in the ring. Cassidy hit The Butcher with The Orange Punch and followed it up with the Beach Break for the win.
Winner: Orange Cassidy
Jade Cargill said Taya Valkyrie is a huge problem in AEW. They served her a cease and desist, but she ignored it when Taya used Jade’s finisher on her lawyer. Mark Sterling said Taya broke his nose with The Jaded. Sterling said he now has a legal processor and if Taya uses The Jaded this Friday on Rampage, they will send the legal processor with an official court order and sue her.
Juice Robinson said he is fighting Action Andretti this Friday on Rampage. Juice has his sites set on Ricky Starks and he will take out his aggression on Andretti.
Willow Nightingale vs Ruby Soho (w/ Saraya and Toni Storm)
Nightingale went for the Doctor Bomb on Soho, but Saraya jumped on the ring apron to distract the referee. This allowed Storm to grab Soho and prevent Nightingale from completing the move. Soho rolled up Nightingale. The referee turned around to make the pin, but did not see Storm holding Soho’s foot on the rope for leverage.
Winner: Ruby Soho
After the match, Storm and Saraya put the boots to Nightingale. Soho grabbed a steel chair and put Nightingales leg in it. Before they could break her leg, Riho and Sky Blue came in, but they got taken down. As Rio was about to be spay painted, Jamie Hayter came in the ring and fought off the heels. Hayter and Riho shook hands afterwards.
Powerhouse Hobbs said he beat Penta, Rey Fenix, and Christopher Daniels. He said The Book of Hobbs says the TNT Championship will never leave his waist.
Adam Cole vs Daniel Garcia
Garcia delivered a piledriver on Cole for a near fall. Cole hit a Superkick and a Panama Sunrise. He then hit the Last Shot for the win. Britt Baker came in the ring and kissed Cole. Chris Jericho came in the ring to check on Garcia and started walking him to the back while looking back at Cole.
