AEW Continental Classic Gold League: Kyle Fletcher vs. Kazuchika Okada

They went for a handshake, but neither one trusted the other, so both threw kicks that got blocked. Fletcher moved out of the way of a Rainmaker and kicked Okada in the head. Okada blocked a suplex attempt and raked Fletcher’s eyes. Fletcher blocked another Rainmaker and rolled him up for the pinfall which earned him 3 points. After the match, Don Callis hugged Fletcher and patted Okada on the back. Callis got both to shake each other’s hands to end the segment.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher

Backstage:

Kenny Omega came out of his dressing room and was asked if he’s back with the Young Bucks. Omega said he hasn’t been a model friend or employee and has done some things he’s not proud of. He was once fooled by Don Callis as well, so he would be a hypocrite to not take that into account and think about where he and the Bucks stand. If they are willing to accept his faults, who is he to say the Bucks don’t deserve a second chance. Omega went back into his dressing room and The Bucks came out of the same dressing room.

A Mark Brisco interview he conducted after Full Gear aired. He said he didn’t know if he wanted to wrestle after Jay Brisco died but knew he had to do it for him. This win is for his home family and his road family

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament: Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron) vs Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue)

Blue kicked Willow off the ring apron, sending her to the floor. Blue and Julia gave Harley a double gourd buster and double kick. Willow got back in the ring. Cameron hit a backstabber on Julia while Willow clotheslined Blue. Willow then gave Julia the Doctor Bomb and pinned her.

Winners: Babes of Wrath

Samoa Joe Celebration

Joe came out with Powerhouse Hobbs and Powerhouse Hobbs. Swerve Strickland and Adam Page were shown walking from the parking lot. Security came out to surround the ring. Joe said everything went according to plan at Full Gear. Joe then showed a video package of Hook from when he left the Opps to when he returned. Joe introduced Hook who came to the ring. 

Hook started to speak but was interrupted by Strickland and Page who made their way to the ring. They beat up several members of security on their way to the ring. More members of security came into the ring. Strickland and Page charged the ring and the Opps left. Strickland and Page then beat up all the members of security in the ring and hung two of them over the top rope with their chains.

AEW Continental Classic Blue League: Jon Moxley vs. Mascara Dorada

Dorada caught Moxley in an armbar but he managed to escape. Dorada escaped a DDT and rolled him up for a near fall. He then superkicked Moxley, went to the top rope, and hit a 450 for a near fall. Dorada again superkicked Moxley, went to the top rope. He went for a shooting star press, but Moxley got his knees up and locked him in the choke causing Dorada to pass out and earn 3 points

Winner: Jon Moxley

After the match, Marina Shafir came to the ring to check on Moxley. Toni Storm then came to the ring. Toni said because she won the match at Full Gear, she gets to pick the stipulation for their match in the Women’s Tag Team Tournament. Mina Shirakawa came out. Toni said her Christmas gift to Mina and the stipulation will be a Hardcore Holiday Death Match.

Backstage:

Kris Statlander said she is the only person to win the TBS and World Title. She is the only person to beat Toni Storm and Mercedes Mone. 

AEW Continental Classic Gold League: Darby Allin vs. Kevin Knight

Knight missed the UFO on Allin. Allin hit a Canadian Destroyer on Knight for a near fall. Knight hit a coast to coast dropkick on Allin. He then hit a reverse frog splash off the top rope on Allin to pin him and earn 3 points. They shook hands after the match.

Winner: Kevin Knight

Backstage:

Eddie Kingston said he doesn’t want to talk about Hook. He heard Samoa Joe mention his name. While he knows he’s not in line for a title shot right now, what will put him in line is to take out Shibata on Collision. The graphic came up immediately after the interview that the match has been made for Collision tomorrow night.

AEW Continental Classic Blue League: Claudio Castagnoli vs Orange Cassidy

Cassidy dove through the ropes and gave Claudio a DDT. He threw him back in the ring and hit a Slumdog Millionaire. Cassidy came off the top rope but got hit with a European uppercut. Claudio gave Cassidy the Giant Swing. He charged at Cassidy but got rocked with a punch to the face. Cassidy blocked the pop up uppercut and caught him with an Orange Punch on the way down. Cassidy charged at him with an Orange Punch but got hit by a clothesline. Claudio finally hit the pop up uppercut on Cassidy and pinned him to earn 3 points. 

Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

After the match, Renee Paquette was getting ready to interview the Death Riders. Before that happened, The Death Riders attacked Cassidy. Roderick Strong came in to help. Most of the Continental competitors came in and brawled with each other while Okada looked on from the top of the entrance way.
