Sammy Guevara has officially quit the Inner Circle.
This week on AEW Dynamite, there was a backstage segment with Guevara and MJF. Guevara told MJF that he knows what he’s up to. Before leaving the room, Guevara punched MJF in the stomach after learning that MJF was recording their conversation.
Later in the show, after Jericho and MJF defeated The Acclaimed, Guevara walked out to the ring and said that he would be quitting the group. Guevara kept his promise to leave the group if another issue came up with MJF.
Jericho looked stunned to find out about Guevara’s decision to leave the group. After the commercial break, Guevara said that he needs “time away from this place.”
