This viewership represents a decrease from the previous week’s July 9th episode, which drew 637,000 viewers and a 0.16 demo rating. In the primetime cable rankings, Dynamite’s 0.15 demo rating tied for the 9th spot for the night. The show performed well with men, earning a 0.23 rating in the males 18-49 demographic.
The show, which served as the fallout from the All In: Texas pay-per-view, was headlined by a trios match that saw the new AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page team with Mark Briscoe and Powerhouse Hobbs to defeat The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta). The broadcast also featured Thekla winning a $100,000 Four-Way match against Queen Aminata, Kris Statlander, and Willow Nightingale.
Dynamite faced a night of heavy competition from broadcast television. The season premiere of Big Brother on CBS was the top program of the evening with 3.011 million viewers and a dominant 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Additionally, the annual ESPY Awards on ABC drew a substantial audience of 2.179 million viewers and a 0.35 demo rating.
