The August 6th episode of AEW Dynamite drew 711,000 viewers and a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demographic for its linear broadcast on TBS. On original cable telecasts, the show was first in the time slot, second for the day.
The viewership marked a significant increase from recent weeks. In a tweet following the ratings release, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed the success, stating, “it was our 2nd most total viewers on TBS in 2025, behind only #AEWGrandSlamMexico!” Khan thanked the fans, wrestlers, and staff for the achievement.

Further analysis from Dave Meltzer contextualized the show’s performance relative to the availability of the TBS network. He stated, “The actual 18-49 rating was 0.53 which means only 33.6 percent of people 18-49 have access to TBS.” This analysis suggests that within the homes that carry the channel, Dynamite is performing at a much higher level than the standard rating indicates, with Meltzer concluding, “This tells why streaming is so important.”
