The Buy-In pre-show

Sonny Kiss vs. Peter Avalon (with Leva Bates)

Kiss got a big entrance with Jaguars cheerleaders. There were a ton of boos for Avalon and Bates when they made their way to the ring. Mostly comedy. Kiss won with a pin.

Backstage interview with Cody and Dustin Rhodes.

Dr. Britt Baker and Riho vs. Shoko Nakajima and Bea Priestley

Good match. There was a big crowd reaction when Priestly and Baker stood face to face. Nakajima got the pin on Rijo to win the match for her team. Priestley and Baker brawled after the match. This match felt like it should have been on the main card.

Backstage interview with Kip Sabian.

Jim Ross was introduced.

AEW Fight For The Fallen main card

Jimmy Havoc, Darby Allin, and Joey Janela vs. MJF, Sammy Guevara, and Shawn Spears

Sadly, no pre-match promo from MJF. Allin is super over. Awesome crowd reaction when he tagged in. Late in the match, Janela did a nasty looking Death Valley Driver on Guevara on the ring apron. Spears pinned Allin with the Death Valley Driver. Great start to the main card.

Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie

Awesome Kong was in Brandi’s corner. Brandi has clearly improved her in-ring work. Brandi won thanks to help from Kong. Kong and Brandi attacked Allie after the match but Aja Kong walked out and stood face to face with Awesome Kong. Referees ran down to break them up.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) vs. Angelico & Jack Evans vs. Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus

This match was insane. Luchasaurus was massively over. At one point, Marko Stunt got involved with a hurricanrana on Angelico off the top. Dark Order won with the pin on Jungle Boy. I can’t describe most of the moves because they were all crazy. Match of the night so far.

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Kip Sabian

Well-worked match. They started slow but the pace continued to pick up. Late in the match, Page hit a nice moonsault off the top to the ringside floor on Sabian. Page also did a running powerbomb from the ring to the stage area. He also hit a swinging neckbrealer off the top but Sabian kicked out of the pin attempt. Page won with the Deadeye with a minute left in the match.

A masked man attacked Page after the match. It was Chris Jericho.

SoCal Uncensored (Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs. Lucha Bros.

Christopher Daniels was ringside. Things got crazy from the start. Daniels was kicked out of ringside by the referee because he and Lucha Bros kept fighting at ringside. The finish was a double stomp off the top while Pentagon hit the package piledriver on Sky. Lucha Bros won. Pentagon attacked Daniels with a ladder after the match. Fenix and Pentagon climbed up the ladder with a mic and cut a promo. They want a ladder match with The Young Bucks at All Out.

Kenny Omega vs. Cima

This was also very good. They brawled at ringside. Fans popped when they were finally able to see on the big screen. Cima hit double knees off a stage area and fans chanted “AEW.” Later, Cima kicked out after the knee trigger. Cima fought back and hit a spike piledriver. Omega won with the knee trigger and Angel’s wings. Excellent match.

Chris Jericho segment

Jericho walked out and talked about having Adam Page’s blood on his hands. Jericho said the fans would be looking for change on the street if it wasn’t for him. He took credit for the TNT deal. He put over Page as one of the best performers in years. Jericho said beating Hangman is just another notch on the belt. But if he loses then its the beginning of the end of Jericho’s career. Jericho says he will become AEW Champion and he will prove that AEW exists because of him. He said he will prove that Hangman is a bitch. Hangman ran out, a big brawl broke out with other wrestlers running in to restore order.

Cody and Dustin Rhodes vs. The Young Bucks

This was a long match. It started slow but the pace picked up later. There was a ref bump towards the end and that allowed the Rhodes to hit Shattered Dreams on Matt and Nick. while the ref was not looking. Later, Cody did a dive to the outside but The Bucks nailed him with a double superkick.  The finish was Nick pinning Cody after they hit the IndieTaker.
