AEW files for another video game related trademark

AEW has filed for the trademark name of “AEW Games” with The United States Patent and Trademark Office.

It was done on October 23rd for two classifications, which include video games as well as a website for gaming and wrestling.

The description for the video game reads like, “International Class 09: Video game discs; Downloadable game software; Downloadable video game programs; Downloadable computer game software; Downloadable electronic game software; Downloadable interactive game software; Downloadable video game software; Recorded video game programs; Recorded video game software.”

While the other filing is listed as, “International Class 041: Providing a website featuring entertainment information in the field(s) of gaming and wrestling; Entertainment services, namely, providing online video games; Entertainment services, namely, providing temporary use of non-downloadable video games; Production of video and computer game software; Providing a website featuring non-downloadable game software; Providing online non-downloadable game software; Provision of information relating to electronic computer games provided via the Internet.”

The logo of AEW Games was also listed, as seen below:

We’ve noted earlier on the site that AEW is working on its first video game that will be on consoles such as Xbox and Playstation.

Just last month, a new trademark filing may have revealed that a new general manager game might be available for mobile devices.
