AEW has filed for a new trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

On July 29, the company filed for the term “The Acclaimed.” The trademark is intended for entertainment services. Here is the description:

“G & S: Hats; Shirts; T-shirts”, as well as “G & S: Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a group or individual wrestlers; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a group or individual wrestlers; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”

The tag team worked their first match in AEW in October 2020 on an episode of Dark where they were defeated by Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent). The following month, they were signed by the promotion and given the tag team name. They made their Dynamite debut by defeating SCU (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian).
