AEW Finalized Plans For All In Surprise Days Before The Event

The AEW All In 2024 pay-per-view event was a big night for the promotion. It featured several surprises, including Jamie Hayter’s return, Ricochet’s arrival, and Nigel McGuinsess’s return to the ring. The event closed with Bryan Danielson winning the AEW World Heavyweight Title.

On the pre-show, Hayter returned after being sidelined for over a year with an injury. It happened as Saraya and the rest of the Knight family came out to the ring. Saraya demanded the rest she deserved and was the best wrestler out of England. The former AEW Women’s World Champion took out Saraya’s mother after being attacked by her. Hayter stood tall in the ring as Saraya escaped to end the segment.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that over the last few months, an in-ring return has become more possible. A tentative plan to have her return at AEW All In was put in place.

A source claims she was at an AEW event recently to meet with AEW President Tony Khan, “but it was kept close to the vest.”

It was said that while they had a general idea of what she was doing at the show, it “wasn’t finalized until this week. ” At one point, management considered a short squash match featuring her.
