AEW Full Gear 2025: Start Time, Match Card, How To Watch

The seventh edition of AEW Full Gear takes place tonight live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. A unique aspect of this year’s event is its sponsorship by DC Comics. This partnership was revealed on October 1, coinciding with the announcement of a crossover comic book story featuring stars and characters from both AEW and DC properties.

AEW Full Gear How To Watch

The main card for Full Gear is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. EST. Viewers in the United States can watch the event on HBO Max, Prime Video, PPV.com, Fubo, and YouTube. International fans can stream the show via Triller. Prior to the main card, the “Saturday Tailgate Brawl” pre-show will air live at 7 p.m. EST on TNT and HBO Max. This pre-show will feature four matches, including a headline bout between El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada, Mistico, and Neon) and the Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, and Hechicero) for the CMLL World Trios Championships.

AEW Full Gear Card

The main event of the evening features Hangman Adam Page defending the AEW Men’s World Championship against AEW World Trios Champion Samoa Joe in a Steel Cage match. The rivalry heated up after Joe became the number one contender on the “Fright Night” edition of Dynamite. Since then, Page has resorted to impersonating Tony Schiavone and attacking members of “The Opps” to exact revenge. Joe enters the match looking to capitalize on the physical toll taken on Page, who has been visibly beaten up and covered in athletic tape in recent weeks.

In the women’s division, Kris Statlander will defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. This marks the third meeting in their trilogy, which began at last year’s Full Gear. While Statlander claims Moné’s global pursuit of gold has left her unfocused, Mone—referring to herself as “13 Belts”—believes she is more focused than ever. Additionally, the inaugural AEW National Champion will be crowned in a Casino Gauntlet Match featuring Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Ricochet, Speedball Mike Bailey, and Kevin Knight.

Other major bouts include FTR challenging “Brodido” for the AEW World Tag Team Championships and Kyle Fletcher defending the TNT Championship against Mark Briscoe. The latter match carries a stipulation that if Briscoe loses, he must join the Don Callis Family. Elsewhere on the card, Jon Moxley faces Kyle O’Reilly in a No Holds Barred match, and The Young Bucks team with Josh Alexander to take on Jurassic Express and Kenny Omega in a match with $1,000,000 on the line.
