Lucha Bros successfully retained the AEW Tag Team Titles over FTR at the Full Gear pay-per-view event in Minneapolis, MN at the Target Center this past Sunday night.

AEW President Tony Khan did mention during the post-Full Gear media scrum that Dax Harwood was rocked during the match and Cash Wheeler finished it up for him.

Fightful Select provided some additional details regarding this as they were told Harwood was either knocked out or nearly knocked out about ten minutes into the match by Rey Fenix. As a result, Harwood was not able to work a good portion of the remainder of the match.

Regarding Fenix, who has been known to be a stiff worker in the past, it was said some talent on the roster took issue with him not checking up on Harwood to see if he was okay after the match.

The report pointed out how this “wasn't considered major heat, but the talent we spoke to said it was common courtesy to check-in.”

The original plan was for Harwood to be part of the finish as he would be playing up that the illegal man got pinned.
