AEW presents a four-hour block of wrestling action tonight with its “Fyter Fest” special, combining live episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision from Denver, Colorado.
The AEW International Championship will be on the line as Kenny Omega defends his title in a four-way match against Mascara Dorada, Claudio Castagnoli, and Brody King. Dorada, Castagnoli, and King all won qualifying matches over the past week to earn their shots at Omega’s gold.
In a non-title bout, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley goes one-on-one with Mark Briscoe. This follows Moxley choking out Briscoe during a mixed trios match on the May 28th Dynamite, with Briscoe vowing to fight for his family.
FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) will take on Atlantis Jr. & Templario, stemming from the luchadors’ recent confrontation with FTR and Stokely Hathaway on Collision. The AEW women’s division will be highlighted as AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm teams with Mina Shirakawa to face Skye Blue & Julia Hart. Storm’s All In: Texas challenger, Mercedes Moné, will be on commentary for this match.
The “Toxic Spider” Thekla will make her official AEW in-ring debut tonight, following her shocking arrival and attack on Jamie Hayter last week.
A trios match will see La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralístico, and The Beast Mortos) battle Komander, Kevin Knight, and “Speedball” Mike Bailey. After officially inducting MJF into their group, The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & MJF) will speak live to the AEW audience.
