AEW Games had previously announced that they would be premiering its new 2.Show this Wednesday. AEW World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega is slated to serve as the host of the new series.
However, the promotion has decided to move the show back a week in honor of Brodie Lee, who passed away on Saturday due to a non-COVID-related lung issue.
AEW has already confirmed that they’ve also delayed the two New Year’s Smash shows and will be doing a tribute show for Lee on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
The 2.Show was supposed to follow Dynamite. Since Lee’s passing, several people from the pro wrestling business have been paying tribute to Brodie Lee.
AEW has been working on a game that would be on consoles such as Xbox and Playstation as well as a mobile game, which will see fans be the General Manager of the promotion and a casino-type game.
