AEW holding its All Out pay-per-view event in Chicago has been a traditional thing since the promotion launched in 2019 aside from the one time exception in 2020 at Daily’s Place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
AEW may make a change to the event emanating from the nearby Hoffman Estates at the NOW Arena, formerly the Sears Centre Arena. This is the same venue that hosted All In, which led to the creation of AEW.
Fightful Select reports that there has been talk of moving the show from the NOW Arena to the United Center. The promotion previously sold out two shows at the venue with The First Dance and Forbidden Door pay-per-view event.
The report noted that AEW may still run Hoffman Estates, and the NOW Arena as they’ve held various events (Dynamite, Dark and Rampage) in the past. the NOW arena holds 11,000 fans while the United Center holds a little over 23,000.
AEW returns to pay-per-view on May 28 for its Double or Nothing show.
