AEW Has Discussed Moving Double Or Nothing Away From Las Vegas

AEW may be hosting Double or Nothing in a new city this year. For 2019, AEW held it from Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Due to the pandemic, they had to hold it from Jacksonville, FL, at Daily’s Place in 2020 and 2021. They held it in Vegas again for 2022 and 2023 but moved it to the bigger T-Mobile Arena. Last year, they moved back to the MGM Grand Arena.

Fightful Select reports, “As of last year, there was major discussion within AEW to have the Double or Nothing event away from Las Vegas.” They were told WWE WrestleMania, taking place just a month prior in Vegas, is factoring into the decision.

AEW is unlikely to release its entire 2025 PPV schedule as it did last year. The reason is that WWE is holding a house show in Orlando on the same night as Worlds End.
