AEW Has Strongly Talked About Popular Star Beating Bryan Danielson For World Heavyweight Title

Bryan Danielson has the wrestling world talking since becoming AEW World Heavyweight Champion.

Danielson beat Swerve Strickland in a career vs. title match that headlined the AEW All In London 2024 pay-per-view event from Wembley Stadium. On Wednesday’s Dynamite, Bryan stated that he will retire from full-time wrestling when he loses the World Title. However, he plans to continue wrestling on a part-time basis.

As previously reported by Dave Meltzer, there have been serious discussions about putting the title on Allin shortly. Jon Moxley called him out on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer noted that Allin beating Danielson has been at least strongly talked about. Danielson will defend the World Title against Jack Perry next Saturday at All Out.

Should Danielson retain the title, he would then defend it against Allin at the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam on September 25, 2024.
