AEW Is Off To A Strong Start With Full Gear Sales

AEW is just days away from presenting its next pay-per-view event, WrestleDream, but it will have to quickly turn its attention to the Full Gear event.

Full Gear is slated to take place on Saturday, November 23rd, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. This will be AEW’s second-to-last pay-per-view event of the year, as they close out 2024 with Worlds End in December.

WrestleTix noted the show sold 4,862 tickets, with a set up of 5,794 earlier this month after tickets went on sale. On Wednesday, they shared the latest figures, noting AEW has sold 5,100, with 238 tickets being distributed in the last week.

The last time they were at the venue, they drew 5,924 fans for a January Dynamite. To compare, WrestleDream currently has sold 6,472 tickets.

This is a good start for AEW with ticket sales compared to WrestleDream. Hopefully, as the event gets closer, more tickets will be sold, as AEW has been doing more local media the week of shows with a strong walk-up crowd.
