AEW Is Planning A Major Stadium Show In The United States

AEW is planning another major show with the venue being interesting, should they go through it.

AEW has held a few stadium shows in its short existence, such as in New York at Arthur Ashe Stadium and in the UK at Wembley Stadium. The London event was the highest-attended event in AEW’s history when it was held in 2023.

They will run London again next month, on August 25. AEW World Heavyweight Champion Swerve Strickland vs. Bryan Danielson is expected to headline. Women’s Champion Toni Storm defending her title against Mariah May is another bout confirmed for it.

AEW currently has a deal with the Dallas/Arlington/Ft. Worth area for a multi-week residence for ROH and AEW Collision. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that’s not the only event headed to the area.

Per the report, several people in the Dallas/Arlington area have said All Elite Wrestling is planning to bring a major-scale event to the area in 2025. To make it even more interesting, several sources teased that it could be a stadium show and be on par with “AEW’s biggest event.”

Fightful was told that officials in the area could make an announcement about the show by the end of the year. It’s still unclear what the event will be called or when it will be happening.

This is just a snippet of the story. For complete details, please visit Fightful Select at Patreon.com/Fightful.
