AEW may have fans back at shows by September

AEW could be getting closer to being allowed to have fans attend their Dynamite TV events.

The promotion has been holding shows from Jacksonville, Florida at Daily’s Place since the outbreak of the coronavirus.

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced today that they will seat approximately 25% of its capacity at each home game this season as they will be in compliance with state and local authorities and following CDC social-distancing guidelines.

The NFL team is now scheduled to play nine games at TIAA Bank Field with its first preseason home game on August 29 against Washington and its regular season opener on September 13 against the Colts.

For those who may not know, Daily’s Place is connected to TIAA Field, which is the home of the Jaguars.

With this announcement, AEW might be allowed to have fans in attendance around this time with limited seating capacity at Daily’s Place. Of course, with the virus, things could change at any moment.

If you recall, AEW has held two matches at the stadium. Most notably, The Elite (Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Adam Page) took on The Inner Circle (Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz) in a Stadium Stampede Match served as the main event of the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.

Chris Jericho recently pitched why he thought it’s possible for AEW to have fans attend shows at Daily’s Place. For more on that, click here.
