Jack Perry’s future with AEW remains up in the air, as his contract situation continues to develop.
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, Perry has not yet re-signed with AEW, and his current deal is set to expire imminently. “As of today, Jack Perry still has not re-signed with AEW and his contract is up very shortly,” Alvarez reported, though the exact expiration date has not been made public. Negotiations between the two sides were first reported back in June.
The good news for AEW is that the door appears to remain open. Speaking on a media call ahead of Forbidden Door 2026 late last month, Tony Khan spoke glowingly of Perry and voiced his hope that a new agreement could be reached to keep him with the company for years to come.
Over the course of his run, he has held the AEW World Tag Team Championship, the TNT Championship, and the National Championship. His most recent in-ring appearance came in a loss to Zack Sabre Jr. on the June 24 episode of Dynamite.
With his deal reportedly nearing its end, all eyes will be on whether Perry and AEW can finalize a new contract, or whether one of the promotion’s homegrown stars could soon become a free agent.
